Main Parts
A guitar has:
- Neck - the part you hold with your left hand (fretting hand)
- Body - big wooden part that sits on your lap. This is the part that makes the sound louder (acoustic) or holds electronics (electric).
- Headstock - top part above neck with tuning pegs.
- Frets - metal strips across the neck
- Strings - metal (or nylon) strings
